With more than 20 years in the legal profession, Chival brings a broad skill set to clients and attorneys. She began her career in retail management as a buyer for Neiman Marcus but also worked as a dental assistant, pursuing her degree in biology. She holds a J.D. and assisted her father in his criminal law practice for two decades before joining Husch Blackwell.

Chival has extensive experience preparing matters for state and federal trial and appeal, and is versed in all stages of the litigation process in multiple areas of law. Her detail-oriented work includes reviewing magistration videos, preparing and summarizing statistical data, evaluating and analyzing documents, and coding documents for production, ensuring consistency and compliance. She works closely with the Harris County District Clerk’s Office and Sherriff’s Department to ensure timeliness and accuracy of the daily reporting of arrests and probable causes hearings. As a Registered Lobbyist and Public Policy Professional, she also works as a liaison between client and governmental entities at the state and local levels to help develop and advance client agendas in collaboration with trustees, boards, executive administration and other key stakeholders.
