Chelsey provides clients with personalized representation in corporate matters.

Chelsey describes herself as “systems-driven”: she has a passion for business systems, and she studies systems to identify inefficiencies and develop improvements. This makes her an excellent fit for corporate formation, corporate maintenance and various transactional work.

As a member of Husch Blackwell’s Corporate team, Chelsey advises clients on entity formation, dissolution and general maintenance. These clients include limited liability companies, series limited liability companies, corporations and nonprofit corporations. She also assists with various employment agreements and counsels entities on business succession planning. Chelsey also has experience with trade name and trademark protections, as well as other intellectual property matters.

While Chelsey works with a wide variety of firm clients, she has a special interest in startups and other small and emerging companies. She is excited to help clients establish a business plan and to support them from the beginning as they identify their initial business needs and develop business goals.

Chelsey is known for her ability to personalize advice for individual clients. She has a gift not only for explaining legal matters to non-attorneys, but for determining which explanations and details will be most helpful to each particular client. Chelsey aims to always provide customized service.

Outside the Office

Chelsey is passionate about event planning and loves ensuring the theme for any party comes completely to life through detailed planning and creative decor. Most of her free time is spent helping friends and family plan and decorate for weddings, showers and other celebrations, but she hopes to open an event planning business in the future.

Community Leadership

Chelsey is a volunteer staff member at Relevant Community Church in Elkhorn, and she serves the church by co-leading a weekly small group at her home. Chelsey also serves as Elkhorn North High School’s mock trial coach.
