Overview

With a focus on construction litigation and other real estate disputes, Caroline advocates for clients in complex litigation matters.

Caroline is a commercial litigator who primarily represents clients in real estate and construction disputes. She represents developers, contractors, property management companies, real estate investment trusts (REIT), and individual property owners in disputes related to construction, breach of contract, commercial eviction, premises liability, eminent domain actions, and various other issues that arise for stakeholders in real property. In addition to her real estate and construction practice, Caroline represents manufacturers in products liability actions and commercial litigation.

After growing up with parents who owned a small home renovation company, Caroline has real estate and construction in her blood. When she joined the firm’s Chattanooga office in 2018, she quickly found herself drawn to the office’s real estate focus. She loves the practical, real-world solutions required in these disputes—a natural problem solver, Caroline enjoys investigating all aspects of client matters to find individualized solutions that optimally align with a client’s business goals.

Thanks in part to a background in creative writing, Caroline is an excellent storyteller with a gift for constructing the compelling narratives that will persuade judges and juries. She also has a reputation for her detail-oriented and analytical thinking, but most of all, she’s known for her empathy. Her number one goal is to serve clients as a trusted counselor and advisor, and the most rewarding aspect of her work is guiding clients toward a successful outcome.
