Bhargavi focuses on public policy and government affairs, guiding clients through regulatory challenges and policy matters from our Washington office.

Inspired by mentors and a desire to make a positive impact, Bhargavi chose to pursue a legal career to help and uplift others. A background in political science and a strong interest in policy shaped her focus on public policy and government affairs. She especially values the opportunity to engage with regulatory issues in DC, where global and national policy intersect.

During law school, Bhargavi served as Executive Notes Editor for The George Washington International Law Review and as president of the Law Association for Women. She also worked as a legal writing fellow and student tutor, further developing research, writing, and leadership skills.

Bhargavi gained hands-on experience as a judicial intern at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, where she prepared bench briefs and draft opinions, and attended hearings and trials. She also interned at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, working on regulatory and employment matters.

As a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, Bhargavi worked on matters involving cannabis regulations, FAA compliance, Title IX, and international trade. She contributed to research, drafted memoranda, and collaborated with partners on a range of policy and regulatory issues.

Bhargavi is known as approachable, thoughtful, and reliable. She takes the time to understand client needs and delivers practical, well-reasoned solutions, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Outside the Office

A former NCAA Division I tennis player, Bhargavi continues to play in local and national tennis leagues. Her all-time favorite player will always be Rafael Nadal, and her favorite grand slam tournament to watch is the U.S. Open. Bhargavi also enjoys SoulCycle classes. 

A Matcha snob, she loves to try different coffee shops with matcha lattes in DC.
