Overview

Andrew’s background in business and engineering informs his practical, methodical approach to litigation.

Andrew’s broad and versatile litigation practice has garnered praise from clients and colleagues alike.  Although primarily engaged in employment law related litigation, he regularly advises clients across multiple industries involved in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts involving claims for trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, misappropriation of likeness, defamation, negligence, premises liability, personal injury, wrongful death, or tortious interference with employment relationship, as well as violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Andrew also has in-depth experience representing insurers and/or insureds in the insurance coverage setting.

Andrew’s specific experience covers all phases of litigation. He routinely drafts pleadings and motions, handles discovery in connection with highly technical scientific subject matter, and advocates for clients in court. Andrew is thorough and patient in his research and provides clients with deep analysis and assessments of cases, carefully scrutinizing discoverable material, identifying areas of need, and developing fact sets that cohere with his clients’ overall litigation strategies.

Prior to entering private practice, Andrew served as Application Engineering Manager at one of the world’s largest oil field services companies, where he successfully designed and implemented novel shale well technologies. Andrew uses his business and technical background to relate to his client’s business needs and understands that there is more to running a business than simply reducing risk exposure. This enables him to advise his clients to maximize their business opportunities, while reducing unnecessary risks.
