Amanda delivers comprehensive, client-focused counsel in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.

Amanda advises clients on a wide array of real estate matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, development, and leasing of commercial, industrial, retail, and multifamily properties. She is adept at navigating transactions from all perspectives, having represented owners, developers, lenders, landlords, and tenants. 

Earlier in her career, Amanda represented land banks in nationwide acquisitions, closing more than 75 acquisitions in a single year. This experience provided her with a strong foundation in structuring transactions and managing complex deals from inception to completion.

After working on real estate and development projects across the country, Amanda joined Husch Blackwell’s Milwaukee office with a commitment to supporting clients and communities in her home state.

Experience
  • Represented institutional and private sector clients in acquisitions and dispositions, including drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, comprehensive due diligence review, and facilitating closings.
  • Closed over 75 land bank acquisitions across the country, providing comprehensive guidance throughout the transaction including deal structuring; risk assessment; drafting and negotiating option agreements, construction agreements, and homeowners' association governing documents; and managing post-close compliance.
  • Supported a renewable energy provider in land assemblages and developments, including most recently a $850 million solar project. Drafted and negotiated leases, crossing agreements, and other curatives with landowners; provided tailored due diligence review; and managed project progression through frequent interfaces with client's business team.
  • Drafted and negotiated residential and commercial leasing agreements on behalf of landlords and tenants in a variety of contexts including student and senior housing, retail, and manufacturing.
Outside the Office

When she’s not working, Amanda values time with her family—her spouse, daughters, and their Old English Sheepdog, Milton. Together, they can often be found cheering on the Brewers, attending local theatre productions, and spending time outdoors.

Amanda’s pro bono experience includes:

  • Representing a local non-profit in the acquisition and development of a food pantry and community resource center.
  • Representing Afghan refugee through asylum applications and the interview process.
