Overview

With a passion for case law and research, Alex helps commercial litigation clients achieve the best outcomes possible.

Alex brings her lifelong love of puzzles to every case. Just like rotating the final jigsaw piece into place, Alex is fascinated by arranging and rearranging the facts of her case until they tell the perfect story.

During her summer associateship at the firm, Alex worked on a wide variety of commercial litigation matters and quickly discovered how much she enjoyed the discovery process, with a determination to leave no stone unturned. She also learned that she loves researching case law to bolster arguments for clients. In addition to her summer at Husch Blackwell, Alex also served during law school as a certified legal intern for Indiana Legal Services, where she learned civil and court procedure inside and out.

Today, Alex represents clients from a wide variety of industries in complex commercial matters. Known for her diligence and her ability to catch tiny details, Alex works hand in hand with clients and particularly enjoys getting to know them and diving deep into their businesses. She places a high priority on building relationships, communicating realistically about outcomes and, of course, achieving the best results possible.

Outside the Office

Alex loves figure skating, football and fashion.

She has spent years on the ice rink, previously competing in synchronized skating, and a passion for Big 10 college football runs deep in her family. Alex combines her enthusiasm for fashion with the concern for the environment that motivated her undergraduate Environmental Studies major: she especially enjoys secondhand shopping and discovering and supporting sustainable brands that prioritize repurposing clothing.

Community Leadership

Alex is on the junior board of the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition of Missouri, an organization she has supported for more than 10 years. She has served as a regular volunteer and store manager for [Re]Fresh, the coalition’s initiative to offer free fashion to local children in the foster system.
