Chris is a paralegal who concentrates his work in the area of healthcare litigation.

Chris also has assisted with the large-scale management and review of documents and medical records for numerous clients in the medical, construction and energy sectors.

Chris is experienced in all phases of the litigation process at the state, federal and appellate court levels. He manages cases from initial investigation through discovery and pretrial/hearing preparation. Chris assists attorneys with complex cases and is highly skilled in the document management system Relativity and in the trial software TrialPad.

His representative work includes:

  • Assisted in-house counsel for Planned Parenthood vs. the State of Texas.
  • Served as lead paralegal for a nursing home client, managing all medical records and reviewing records as needed for case evaluation and analysis.
  • Assisted trial team in defending a large estate case that settled the day of the trial due to the team’s excellent jury selection and pretrial hearings.
  • Assisted in defending a client in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals over safety citations in a gold mine in Alaska.
  • Assisted in numerous energy hearings for clients that were challenging the TMPA need for additional power lines in the Gulf Coast area.
  • Served as lead paralegal in a case involving a bond from the 1850s.  Researched numerous microfilm and other documents relevant to the case from the 1850s to early 1900s.
  • Assisted in numerous breach of contract and construction liability lawsuits.
