Husch Blackwell partner Jeffrey Jensen has been tabbed by the Trump Administration to lead the U.S. Attorney’s office in St. Louis, according to an announcement made today by the White House Office of the Press Secretary.

Based in the firm’s St. Louis office, Jensen counsels clients in connection with complex federal litigation, including internal compliance investigations and reviews and emergency response to government investigations. He is affiliated with the firm’s Financial Services & Capital Markets and Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation industry groups.

“We are very proud of Jeff on his nomination for U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri,” said Husch Blackwell CEO and Managing Partner Greg Smith. “Few attorneys can match his skill, integrity, experience and character. He is the right person for a job that is critically important for our region.”

Jensen graduated from the Saint Louis University School of Law, magna cum laude, and holds a B.S. in accounting from Indiana University. Prior to entering private practice, Jensen was a certified public accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers. He then served as an FBI special agent in St. Louis for 10 years and as a federal prosecutor for another decade, leading prosecutions of securities and corporate fraud cases.
