TIME Names Husch Blackwell to America's Best Private Companies of 2026 List

News Releases

National law firm Husch Blackwell has been named to America's Best Private Companies of 2026  list by global media brand TIME.

Husch Blackwell is one of only 10 law firms featured on the inaugural list, which is based primarily on survey responses from more than 217,000 employees working at companies within the U.S. over the past three years.

“This is what happens when you put people first—and mean it,” said Jamie Lawless, Husch Blackwell’s Chief Executive. “Being recognized by TIME is an honor, but it's also a challenge to keep raising the bar. This confirms is what I see every day, which is attorneys and business professionals who are all in, not only for their clients, but for each other.”

The evaluation encompassed recommendations from current and former employees as well as evaluations of employers across the dimensions of image, atmosphere, working conditions, salary, and equality by verified employees. Organizations were also assessed on a company’s Net Impact, defined as the net sum of the societal costs and benefits it creates. Net Impact is measured across 19 subcategories in four pillars: society, knowledge, health, and environment.
