Nithya Nagarajan Named to CIT's Advisory Committee

Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that partner Nithya Nagarajan has been invited to join the United States Court of International Trade’s (CIT) Advisory Committee. The committee is tasked with making recommendations for amendments to the CIT rules and procedures and is comprised of lawyers who have demonstrated expertise in the administration of justice in customs and international trade law.

Based in Washington, Nagarajan is a veteran international trade lawyer who assists clients with developing and implementing trade-remedy strategies and who advises clients involved in antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings. She has led and participated in proceedings conducted by the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Ministry of Commerce in the People’s Republic of China, the DGFT in India and the European Commission and has conducted trade consultations and negotiations with numerous foreign governments. She has also negotiated several bilateral trade agreements (suspension agreement or undertakings) on behalf of the Department of Commerce in the settlement of antidumping duty investigations.
