Missouri Lawyers Weekly Names Oleen and Segura to 2017 ‘Up and Coming' List; Ault Recognized as ‘Law Firm Leader'

Husch Blackwell partners Nathan Oleen and Ernesto Segura have been named 2017 ''Up and Coming'' lawyers, and partner Jordan Ault has been recognized as a 2017 ‘Law Firm Leader’ by Missouri Lawyers Weekly.

Oleen, based in the firm’s Kansas City office, is a partner in the firm’s Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation group and its Intellectual Property practice.  A registered patent attorney, Oleen has guided start-up entrepreneurs, investors, mid-cap companies and large multinational corporations in developing strategies for acquiring, protecting, licensing and enforcing intellectual property rights worldwide, as well as provided counsel on software and technology development and licensing deals. He obtained his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law (2006) and his B.S. from Kansas State University (2003).

Segura is based in the firm’s St. Louis office and is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Development & Construction group. His has represented developers and public bodies in some of the most high-profile real estate and public financing transactions in the St. Louis region. Segura also plays a key role is recruiting new talent to the firm as a member of the firm’s Executive Recruiting Committee in St. Louis. Segura obtained his J.D. cum laude from the Saint Louis University School of Law (2008) and his B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder (2000).

Ault is a partner in the firm’s Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation group and is based in Husch Blackwell’s Jefferson City office. He focuses his practice on the defense of product liability and toxic tort litigation and also leads the firm’s Nonprofit Organizations and Religious Institutions team. He is active in pro bono work, counseling individuals on a variety of legal issues through the firm’s relationships with organizations including Grace Hill Settlement House and Legal Services of Eastern Missouri.  Ault obtained his J.D. summa cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law (2007) and his B.A. summa cum laude from Illinois Wesleyan University (2004).

The 2017 ‘Up and Coming’ and ‘Law Firm Leader’ Awards will be presented at an awards luncheon October 6, 2017 in St. Louis.
