Mike Kelly Named to Ingram's 2023 40 Under Forty Class

News Releases

National law firm Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that partner Mike Kelly has been included in Ingram’s 2023 40 Under Forty class. The honor is reserved for Kansas City’s leaders, achievers, and newsmakers under the age of 40.

Kelly focuses his practice on complex construction and commercial litigation matters. He assists design professionals, architects, engineers, general contractors, and other critical stakeholders to build and improve the Kansas City region – his lifelong home.

Outside the office, Kelly served as Mayor for the city of Roeland Park in Johnson County, Kansas where he led efforts to reduce Roeland Park’s property tax rate—three times—as home valuations surged. Now serving as the youngest Johnson County Commission Chairman in the county’s history, at 37, Kelly broke the fundraising record for municipal and county government races in Kansas, raising more than $500,000—with maximum donations of $500. Kelly is also the founder of Climate Action KC, a non-profit that created the first Kansas City metro area regional climate plan.
