The Kansas City Business Journal named Husch Blackwell’s Joan K. Archer, Ph.D., Hayley E. Hanson and Charles G. Renner to its 2017 “Best of the Bar.”
Now in its 15th year, the “Best of the Bar” moved from a peer-nomination-and-selection process to an attorney application process. Applicants were then vetted by a panel of judges with an eye towards practice areas important to Kansas City-area business clients.
Archer, partner in the Food & Agribusiness group, leads the firm’s Food Safety & Labeling team. She focuses her practice on business and intellectual property matters.
Hanson, partner in the Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education group, leads the firm’s Higher Education team. She advises higher education clients on compliance and governance issues.
Renner, partner in the Real Estate, Development & Construction group, co-leads its Public-Private Partnerships (P3) team. He has played a leading role in a number of significant P3 projects.
