Husch Blackwell’s renewable energy team assisted Swift Current Energy in the negotiation and execution of the EPC contracts for the 122 MW Three Rivers Solar facility located in Hancock County, Maine.
Three Rivers Solar recently reached financial close, which included $248 million in project financing from Crédit Agricole CIB, Lloyds Bank PLC, NatWest, and Societe Generale.
Husch Blackwell assisted the Swift Current team in the negotiation of two EPC contracts for the project—one with IEA Constructors, Inc. for the photovoltaic scope and another with Beta Engineering, LLC for the high-voltage scope of work.
Three Rivers Solar is currently under construction and is expected to reach commercial operation later this year. The power that will be produced from the facility is fully contracted under a 20-year power purchase agreement.
The Husch Blackwell team was led by partner Steve Neeley and included senior associate Andrew Parker. Partner Sylvia Bartell served as FERC counsel.
