Situation
A nursing home was denied a request for a Medicaid rate increase from the Department of Social Services.
Result
We appealed to the Administrative Hearing Commission and obtained a ruling in our client’s favor. The case was appealed and the Court of Appeals affirmed the decision, leading to a recovery of our client’s attorneys’ fees in addition to granting the request for Medicaid reimbursement increases.
