Meredith has significant experience representing investors, lenders, community development entities, and other businesses in commercial financing transactions involving federal and state tax credits.
At Husch Blackwell, Meredith represents clients in New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) transactions, which utilize various forms of debt, equity, and public financing. She advises parties on all sides of NMTC projects, from investors to Community Development Entities (CDEs) to developers. Meredith’s experience includes the construction of new health clinics and equipment factories and the expansion of community facilities, to name a few.
Meredith also represents lenders in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Property Assessment Clean Energy (PACE) financing transactions across the country, from the District of Columbia to Hawaii. Meredith also has experience drafting and negotiating bridge loans to support LIHTC projects.
