Overview

Megan takes a tailored approach to helping clients achieve the best outcomes for their real estate development needs.

Megan has worked with business clients in a variety of industries, which has led her to appreciate the importance of providing individualized advice and employing unique strategies to match each client’s particular situation.

In commercial real estate, Megan has assisted corporate clients in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and purchase agreements, covenants and restrictions documents, access agreements, and reciprocal easement agreements. She also has experience regarding mergers and acquisitions, having negotiated M&A NDAs, performed due diligence and participated in purchase agreement negotiations. She enjoys participating in both buy-side and sell-side deal strategy discussions.

Having played collegiate softball, Megan is a competitor and values assisting clients with accomplishing their goals.

Negotiated commercial leases and purchase agreements for one of the fastest growing fast-food chains in U.S.
Drafted reciprocal easement agreements, access agreements and amendments to declarations and easement, covenants and restrictions documents.
Reviewed title commitments and surveys and prepared client memoranda.
Prepared closing documents and assisted with facilitating closings.
Negotiated transportation services agreements, outsource carriage agreements, vendor agreements, and trademark licensing agreements.
Conducted mergers and acquisitions due diligence and participated in purchase agreement negotiations. Negotiated M&A NDAs.
Provided advice on a broad range of legal areas such as employment, marketing, intellectual property and data privacy.

Outside the Office

Megan enjoys attending football games with her husband and taking her two dogs, Shiner and Stella, on long walks. She is an avid reader, a yoga enthusiast and a local coffee shop regular.
