Kinsey handles corporate matters, helping clients navigate business formation, transactions, and strategy.
Aiming to better understand how laws and policies shape organizations and businesses, Kinsey chose to enroll in law school after working in federal policy. Her interest in corporate law comes from a genuine enthusiasm for the business world, supported by her background in economics. She enjoys learning how businesses operate and how the law influences business decisions, especially when it comes to structuring organizations and guiding growth.
During law school, Kinsey was a member of the Washburn Law Journal, serving in an editorial role that strengthened her legal writing and editing skills and her attention to detail. She also participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, working directly with people to prepare taxes and solve real-world problems. These experiences gave her practical skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Kinsey spent a summer as an associate at Husch Blackwell, where she worked on projects involving entity formation, due diligence, and corporate acquisitions, as well as research and contract analysis in a variety of practice areas. This experience gave her a broad perspective on the legal needs of businesses and the importance of tailored strategies.
Kinsey is known for being detail-oriented and for connecting those details to the bigger picture. She is committed to understanding each client’s business and working collaboratively to build solutions that fit their unique goals.
