Jordan's professional journey has been shaped by an interest in finance, business, and strategic problem-solving, leading him to pursue a legal career.

Before entering the legal profession, Jordan accumulated practical experience in banking and finance at Wells Fargo and Builder Finance. His time at Wells Fargo exposed him to the intricacies of the lending sector, where he developed an understanding of risk management and maximizing returns. At Builder Finance, he delved into real estate and construction financing, handling everything from land acquisition to project planning and the eventual sale.

In addition to his financial roles, Jordan broadened his legal perspective through an internship with a federal judge. This experience provided valuable insights into the intersection of law and business, emphasizing the impact of litigation on transactional decisions. Jordan, a Midwest native, started in the firm's Omaha office and maintains strong connections to the area.

Known for his attention to detail, industry insight, and approachable demeanor, Jordan channels his legal skills into helping companies navigate growth stages with a pragmatic approach. Now in the Washington D.C. office, he also assists companies in adhering to federal regulations, lobbying rules, and securing federal funding.

Outside the Office

A sports fan, Jordan watches as many Minnesota Twins games as possible and loves visiting MLB ballparks. Jordan is also a musician who enjoys playing both piano and guitar.

Jordan and his wife, both from South Dakota, love returning to visit family and to vacation in the Black Hills. After Jordan’s time in law school in Nebraska, they return there often as well. Now in Washington, they enjoy playing tourist in their own city as well as tour guide to visiting friends and family.

Community Leadership

Jordan frequently volunteers through his church and has made several humanitarian trips to Haiti. He and a team worked with community leaders to establish a self-sustaining school, church, and rice mill that produced food for the area as well as funding for the school. They also helped set up a farm machinery rental program for increased agricultural production and lower costs.

While in Haiti, Jordan, who has been trained in American Sign Language, personally worked to place Deaf children in Deaf schools, taught sign language to families with Deaf children, and provided resources for continuing sign language education for Deaf children and their families.
