Jill Arps is a part-time paralegal with the Milwaukee Tax team with more than 40 years of experience.
She assists with the administration and management of the property tax assessment practice, which includes client contact, requesting and reviewing pertinent information, communicating with assessors, filing objections, commencing litigation, and assisting with hearings and appeals.
In addition, Jill has experience in handling many types of real estate transactions from the beginning to the final closing.
Prior to joining Husch Blackwell, in addition to working in the tax assessment area, she also has extensive experience with eminent domain and condemnation matters. As a part of the eminent domain practice, she was responsible for the coordination and implementation of an annual Condemnation Symposium in co-sponsorship with the Appraisal Institute and Marquette Law School (now held for 18 years) for attorneys and appraisers from around the state.
