Overview

Jett focuses on real estate transactions for the renewable energy industry.

Jett’s decision to pursue a legal career was sparked by an interest in legal issues while pursuing a political science degree and a passion for negotiating deals honed during a stint in technology sales. Law school offered a deeper involvement in transactions, aligning perfectly with Jett’s interests.

Drawn to the tangible nature of real estate and development, Jett takes pride in seeing projects come to fruition. The realization that many clients’ most valuable assets are their real estate properties further solidified this focus. Jett’s law school experience included participation in his university’s Land Title Clinic, which provided practical skills in tracing title histories and understanding the complexities of deeds and title insurance.

As a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, Jett gained hands-on experience assembling lease packages for renewable energy projects, researching property tax appeals, and analyzing municipal regulations. This experience, combined with an internship at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, highlighted the importance of excellent legal counsel in navigating complex transactions and regulations.

Known for a keen curiosity to understand the specific needs of businesses, Jett strives to quickly provide value to deal teams, bringing a detail-oriented approach and a commitment to helping clients achieve their goals.
