A Certified Paralegal, Jennifer assists attorneys and clients with end-to-end real estate issues in the Energy & Natural Resources industry.

Jennifer facilitates complex regulatory matters for clients and attorneys, providing document and case management. An accomplished researcher with a broad knowledge of legal software, she handles filings in both state and federal court. She collaborates with a range of state and federal entities including:

  • Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)
  • U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA)
  • State Office of Administrative Hearings
  • Texas Railroad Commission
  • Public Utility Commission of Texas
  • Texas State Comptroller
  • Texas Secretary of State

She also has extensive experience assisting on regulatory and litigation matters up to the level of the Texas Supreme Court, including attendance and attorney support at mediations, arbitrations, district court hearings, and federal bench and jury trials as well as appellate proceedings. Additionally, Jennifer has written and presented Continuing Legal Education materials on paralegal organizational skills and trial preparation.

Outside the Office

Jennifer understands that the show must go on.

Having studied stage management as an undergraduate, Jennifer now serves as a weekend and evening lighting designer and production manager. She’s a critical team member behind the scenes at several Austin repertory companies, troupes, bilingual theaters and performing arts venues including Gilbert & Sullivan Austin, the Vortex and Teatro Vivo.

Jennifer’s most memorable production was the Vortex’s 30th-season celebratory “Performance Park,” an audience participatory and immersive 150-minute simultaneous musical, scavenger hunt, live-action costumed role play and performance art piece.
