Jared draws on a background in business, finance and law to guide the strategic planning and support the daily operations of the firm’s Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation industry unit.
As Managing Director, Jared builds client service teams to ensure that matters are appropriately staffed and client needs are met. His role includes oversight of legal project management, alternative fee arrangements, budgeting, marketing strategy and performance improvement. Jared is responsible for the industry unit’s overall strategic planning and business development.
Jared has a long history of strategic work within law firms. As an undergraduate, he studied economics with an eye to the finance and accounting world. However, he had an interest in the law as well, and an internship at a law firm opened his eyes to the opportunities that existed to marry these interests. Jared went on to devote his career to law firm accounting and operational leadership, quickly rising to an executive role as director of finance at a previous firm, with a heavy focus on business strategy.
In 2021, Jared joined Husch Blackwell as a liaison between the firm’s accounting department and the managing directors of its industry units. The role gave him an up close view of the needs and challenges of individual units. Six months later, Jared became Managing Director of Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation, where he now oversees both financial operations and long-term strategic planning.
