Jack represents clients in commercial disputes, supporting them from initial case strategy through resolution.
Jack decided to pursue law school after finding his undergraduate law classes stimulating and wanting a career that would keep challenging him intellectually. Before law school, he worked as an immigration paralegal in Milwaukee, translating documents and preparing clients for court, and he spent a year in Madrid as a Fulbright Scholar teaching English to secondary school students. That teaching experience built his patience and taught him how to tailor his approach to people with different needs.
Litigation appealed to Jack because of its pace and variety, with each matter presenting a different challenge. During law school, a volunteer trip to the southern border to assist migrants and asylum seekers proved transformative, building on his earlier paralegal work and giving him a firsthand look at the legal stakes behind immigration policy. He also served on his law school's international law journal, strengthening his research and writing skills.
As a summer associate at Husch Blackwell across two summers, Jack focused on commercial and intellectual property litigation, drafting motions and pleadings, conducting research, and traveling to attend depositions and hearings. He also completed an in-house rotation with a manufacturing client, giving him a broader view of how legal issues intersect with business operations.
Known as a determined and reliable team member, Jack listens closely and works to find creative solutions to problems. Clients can expect a hard worker who communicates clearly and stays focused on their needs.
