Gabrielle focuses on labor and employment law.
Fascinated by the law and its power to protect and advocate, Gabrielle was motivated to pursue a legal career. She found herself especially drawn to labor and employment law, with its variety of complex legal issues, deeply entangled with human emotions and conflicts. She enjoys both the proactive aspect of analyzing procedures to promote healthy workplace dynamics and the reactive aspect of resolving conflicts.
During law school, Gabrielle excelled in her university’s negotiation competition, where she came to appreciate the balance between advocating for clients and reaching amicable settlements. Gabrielle firmly believes that the adversarial nature of litigation doesn’t preclude kindness and respect, and she sees negotiation as a path to empowering both parties to avoid future conflict.
A judicial externship also provided Gabrielle with practical courtroom experience and a deeper understanding of litigation’s complexities and the great responsibility of legal work. As a summer associate at Husch Blackwell, she worked on diverse matters, including drafting asylum petition documents, conducting legal research for employment cases, and drafting probate documents.
Gabrielle is known for her attention to detail, commitment to her work, and ability to truly listen to clients’ stories and concerns. Clients appreciate her diligence and care, as well as the sense that she champions their causes as if they were her own.
