Cris assists attorneys in preparing and filing U.S. patent applications for a large Japanese client. She assisted with the firm’s first inter partes review cases, which resulted in a successful outcome with no disruption to the client’s business.
Cris’ representative work experience includes:
- Electronically filing U.S. patent applications, divisional/continuation applications, provisional applications, PCT U.S. national stage applications and related matters.
- Preparing and filing prosecution documents, including:
- RCE
- QPIDS Pilot Program documents
- Information disclosure statements
- Petitions for withdrawal from Issuance
- Petitions to Extend Time
- Issue Fee/Maintenance Fee and other Fee Transmittals
- Correction documents
- Maintaining more than 1,200 patent prosecution files for a major Japanese client.
- Corresponding with foreign and domestic clients to forward documents, make inquiries, and explain and clarify work performed.
- Solving problems and issues that arise with online electronic filings at the U.S. Patent Office.
