Brenda helps clients solve problems so that they can move forward with their business.
Brenda primarily assists with real estate-related work, dividing her time between the Condominium & HOA team’s litigation needs and the Telecommunications team’s transactional needs, as well as assisting developer and government relations clients with due diligence matters. She assists with the preparation and filing of legal documents, various stages of the collection and discovery processes, the maintenance of case files, and the drafting of pleadings. Her responsibilities also include the preparation and review of agreements and the organization and management of multiple tasks related to real estate transactions, including project schedules, title and survey review, and the preparation of organizational documents and various real estate documents.
Brenda has extensive experience working directly with clients and those who owe money to clients—in fact, after beginning her career as a legal assistant, she pursued a paralegal role partly out of a desire for more opportunities to get to know and personally help the firm’s clients. She’s known as a team member who’s always looking for a better solution. With a passion for the fast pace of legal work, Brenda consistently delivers a quality work product and is relied upon by her other team members.
Earlier in her career, Brenda served as a deputy court clerk and judicial assistant at the Milwaukee County Courthouse. That experience made her extensively familiar with how the court functions and thinks, and she knows firsthand what happens once the documents she’s prepared and filed arrive in the courthouse’s system. With a solid understanding of what the court needs and how it manages the documents, Brenda is able to better serve clients and ensure that their cases are presented flawlessly.
