Overview

As a Banking & Finance attorney, Ani understands the concerns of the financial industry.

Ani grew up in the Republic of Georgia and came to the United States as a teenager to pursue her business and legal education, including her M.B.A. Ani has a unique perspective on legal and financial matters, knowing that different cultures find individual pathways to success. Clients appreciate her innovative ideas, individual drive on their behalf and her ability to bring diverse ideas and viewpoints to the table for win-win financial legal solutions.

As a member of the Banking & Finance team, Ani guides clients in corporate lending and specialty finance, as well as helping them to navigate consumer and regulatory issues. Prior to beginning her law practice, Ani served a legal internship with an international mining company.

Experience

Represented leading renewable power producer as tax equity counsel in the closing of $260 million commitment in connection with six utility-scale solar projects to provide 416MWdc of domestically produced power to local grids. Projects will also add a significant boost to the local economies through increased tax revenues and the creation of hundreds of jobs.

Outside the Office

Ani likes to keep moving.

Ani is a long-distance runner, completing annual marathons, half-marathons, 5Ks and 10Ks. She and her husband also enjoy hiking and traveling, including in New Mexico, Utah, Arizona and Montana. At rest, Ani can be found practicing yoga or reading.

Community Leadership

Ani is involved in her church, where her husband serves as Worship & Outreach Pastor. Ani donates time and talent to various roles, including the young adult small groups and as a Youth Ministries volunteer.

Additionally, when able, Ani visits nursing homes and rehabilitation centers with the couple’s certified therapy dog, Brownie.
