Ali draws on nearly two decades in real estate law to support clients’ development projects.
Ali first discovered her love for transactions as a law student: a natural writer and researcher, she thrived on document preparation and analysis, and she had a particular passion for collaboration and teamwork. Her enthusiasm for working with clients and other attorneys to build deals that would benefit both sides was confirmed at her first firm, and she soon began to focus on real estate work.
Ali gained extensive experience with leasing, land use, and title and survey review early in her career, negotiating both purchase agreements and loan documents. She also provided general real estate advice to businesses of all sizes before taking a position as in-house counsel to a manufacturing company.
With more than 10 years of in-house experience, Ali has an inside perspective on what matters most to clients. She understands the need for efficiency in outside counsel and the budget concerns that can constrain deals, and she is well used to ensuring that the legal demands of real estate transactions fit with overall business strategy.
Today, Ali provides legal counsel to developers, real estate investors, retailers and institutional lenders in all aspects of commercial real estate development and traditional development work. Her practice includes acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financing. With a focus on helping clients grow their businesses through real property transactions, Ali is known as an efficient, dependable professional who can turn documents around quickly for clients.
