Erik Dullea will present, “Practical Applications of AI and Where It Falls Short,” at the American Bar Association (ABA) 2026 Section of Public Contract Law Fall Forum on Friday, November 6, 2026, in Reston, Virginia.

Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the practice of government contracts law and client business operations, offering powerful tools for contract review, compliance monitoring, proposal drafting, and regulatory research. However, AI tools also present significant limitations and risks that legal practitioners must understand before integrating them into their practice. Topics will include flow downs, intellectual property issues, export controls, human user challenges, shadow AI, hallucinations, OCI issues, and related ethical issues.
