Speaker, EY Forensic & Integrity Services Event, "The Attack from Within: An Update to Combating Insider Threat"

Speaking Engagements

As organizations take careful measures to protect their critical assets from external risks, they often remain vulnerable to threats from inside their organizations. By studying behavioral changes, detecting routine variations and putting defined detection procedures in place, companies can more effectively manage insider risk.

Carnegie Mellon University researchers concluded that 70% of individuals stole at least some intellectual property 60 days or fewer before their termination (whether forced or voluntary) and 57% of the cases of insider IT sabotage involved an attack within 60 days of the insider’s termination from the organization.

Please join a distinguished panel for an in-depth discussion on the realities of insider risks and leading practices for detection, insider threat program development and management.

Topics will include, but are not limited to:

  • Tactical considerations for detecting insider incidents
  • Essential elements for a well-defined insider threat program
  • Recommendations for strengthening the workplace security
