The number of employees subject to the overtime and minimum wage protections of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) could dramatically increase under a final rule announced by the Department of Labor on May 18, 2016. If not managed properly, the changes could have a major budgetary impact on your institution and result in increased liability risks for improper employee classifications and overtime miscalculations.
In addition, Title IV program reviews are on the rise, and all schools should be prepared for an upcoming program review.
Join Husch Blackwell attorney Hayley Hanson for training that will help you prepare for these changes and provide tools to manage the cost and potential liability associated with FLSA and Title IV compliance.
