The U.S. Supreme Court’s recent Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) decision in Facebook Inc. v. Duguid hands businesses a big win in favorably resolving a circuit split of the definition of an “automatic telephone dialing system.” Businesses must still remain cautious, however.
