National law firm Husch Blackwell has been named in the U.S. News & World Report’s inaugural list of the Best Company to Work For: Law Firms edition. Husch Blackwell is one of only 344 law firms nationwide to earn the Best Companies to Work for distinction.

The 2024 Best Companies to Work For: Law Firms list builds on U.S. News’ “Best Companies to Work For” series by analyzing how individual firms meet the needs and expectations of their attorneys and business professionals compared to their competitors. The list considers quality of pay and benefits, work-life balance, job stability, physical and psychological comfort, belongingness, and opportunities for professional development.

In October 2023, Husch Blackwell ranked 10th on Quartz’s Best Companies for Remote Workers for large companies. The Link, Husch Blackwell's virtual office, supports the firm’s personnel in delivering the highest level of client service while also fostering increased team member satisfaction, efficiency, and flexibility. Since its launch in July 2020, the Link has grown to more than 600 attorneys and professional staff in more than 40 cities across the United States.

In addition to the U.S. News listing, Husch Blackwell was named one of only eight firms considered for the 2023 Best Law Firm of the Year award by The American Lawyer. Moreover, the firm secured a position in the top 25 of Financial Times’ list of innovative firms. The FT rankings considered a combination of factors, including innovation, digital solutions, diversity and inclusion and talent development, social responsibility, and revenue growth.

To calculate the U.S. News Best Companies to Work For: Law Firms list, U.S. News partnered with Leopard Solutions and Revelio Labs, which gathered relevant data, including employee sentiment and legal market research, to calculate the six metrics used in the list. Only firms that are included in Leopard Solutions’ database were considered for the list. Additionally, each firm had to have a minimum of 10 U.S.-based Glassdoor reviews written between 2020-2022.
