Corum selected for the third time

Based solely on client submissions, Husch Blackwell Partners William E. Corum and Claude P. Goddard have been named to “The BTI Client Service All-Star Team for Law Firms 2013.” This year’s list recognizes 307 leaders of client service excellence and is determined by nominations directly from general counsel.

This is Corum’s third time receiving the honor, first in 2009 and again in 2012. He is one of 41 attorneys returning to The BTI Client Service All-Stars for two or more consecutive years. Husch Blackwell is one of 65 law firms with more than one nominee.

Corum works in the firm’s Kansas City, Mo., office, in the areas of Business Litigation, Construction & Design and Labor & Employment law. He is often engaged as lead trial counsel and litigation strategist representing national and global companies. Corum prosecutes and defends commercial/business disputes and construction/design claims for corporate clients through arbitration and litigation in state and federal courts throughout the United States. In addition, he has successfully represented numerous employers in employment-related claims nationwide, including state and federal claims of sexual harassment, discrimination, FMLA, ERISA and restrictive covenant litigation matters.

Goddard works in Husch Blackwell’s Washington, D.C., office as a member of the firm’s Government Contracts team and has focused on federal procurement law for more than 20 years. He represents clients in corporate internal fraud investigations; federal and state court actions involving false claims, subcontracts, consulting agreements and misappropriation of trade secrets; agency suspensions and debarments; government contract claims; Court of Federal Claims and Government Accountability Office (GAO) bid protests; and default terminations.
