Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that associate Michael Raupp has been chosen by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce to participate in its Centurions Leadership Program. Each year, the Chamber selects a group of approximately 45 professionals to participate.

The Centurions Leadership Program is a two-year immersion in leadership and community engagement activities where participants gain valuable insights on the issues facing the Kansas City region and learn about opportunities to become more civically engaged. The program began in 1976 and has over 1,200 alumni.

Practicing in Husch Blackwell’s Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education industry group, Raupp regularly assists clients with complex litigation, high-stakes regulatory disputes and appellate proceedings, with specific experience in compliance matters and related litigation for colleges and universities. Prior to entering private practice, Raupp served as a federal appellate law clerk, and he maintains an active appellate practice, counseling clients through all stages of appeals including briefing and oral argument.

Raupp regularly handles pro bono matters as well, including several appointments from state and federal courts, as well as work with Husch Blackwell’s Human Trafficking Legal Clinic. He is active in several community organizations, including Operation Breakthrough and Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care.
