Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Corporate Counsel has named partner Nicole Bashor a finalist in the Law Firm Mentor & Mentee Collaboration category for its Women, Influence & Power in Law Awards 2025.
This category honors outstanding mentor-mentee partnerships that exemplify the importance of professional guidance, support, and growth.
Based in Chicago, Bashor provides clients with strategic legal counsel at all stages of technology development—from research and product development through commercialization—and routinely manages and maintains large intellectual property portfolios on an international basis with aggregate values in the tens of billions of dollars.
Bashor was nominated by attorney Michael Scott, who emphasized the significant role she has played in his career development. Scott highlighted how, early in his career, Bashor included him in client pitches and strategic meetings, including annual European patent opposition proceedings—high-stakes challenges to patent validity that Scott now helps lead.
Bashor will be recognized at an awards dinner on October 7 in Oxon Hill, Maryland, as a part of the Women, Influence & Power in Law Conference.
The Women, Influence & Power in Law Awards 2025 honors top women lawyers who have made a remarkable difference in the legal profession.
