Buffey Klein covers the state of Texas for the volume’s state-by-state guide to assignments for the benefit of creditors.

Buffey Klein, a Dallas-based partner in Husch Blackwell’s Financial Services and Capital Markets group, has contributed a chapter to Thomson Reuters’ 2018 edition of Strategic Alternatives for and Against Distressed Businesses. Klein’s contribution covers the state of Texas for the volume’s state-by-state guide to assignments for the benefit of creditors.

Klein represents financial industry clients and institutions in the areas of commercial litigation, commercial loan workouts, out-of-court restructurings, loan documentation and the protection of creditors’ rights. She also advises several national clients in connection with workouts and restructurings of troubled loans.

Strategic Alternatives for and Against Distressed Businesses is published by Thomson Reuters and, since 2008, is one of the best-selling titles in its library of legal resources. The volume is the result of work by more than 100 leading restructuring professionals from leading law firms.
