News Releases

National law firm Husch Blackwell has been shortlisted by Managing IP in six categories for its Americas Awards 2026.

The firm has been shortlisted for Midwest Firm of the Year in patent prosecution (one of six firms considered for distinction), patent disputes (one of seven firms), and trademark prosecution (one of six firms). The regional-level award seeks to recognize the year’s most outstanding firm in one of four regions.

Individually, partner Beau Jackson has been shortlisted for national Practitioner of Year (ITC), where he is one of seven finalists. Partner Dan Cohn is one of six attorneys considered for Midwest Patent Prosecutor of the Year while partner Daisy Manning is one of eight finalists for Midwest Patent Litigator of the Year.

Managing IP’s Americas Award series recognizes the country’s most distinguished intellectual property practitioners and their firms for their remarkable achievements and developments over the past year based on months of evaluating work data supplied by firms and, where applicable, reviewing publicly available information such as court and IP office records. The award winners will be announced at a gala dinner on April 9 in New York.
