National law firm Husch Blackwell announced the continued expansion of its complex torts capabilities with the addition of partner Untress “Trez” Quinn. He joins the firm from Armstrong Teasdale.
Quinn, who will be part of the firm’s virtual office, The Link, is a seasoned trial lawyer whose practice focuses on commercial and tort litigation for clients across industry sectors. He has defended numerous complex, high-stakes cases in both state and federal courts involving product liability, civil rights, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, and wrongful death claims.
“Trez brings significant experience to Husch Blackwell in important tort litigation jurisdictions in Illinois and Missouri,” said J.Y. Miller, Husch Blackwell partner and co-leader of the firm’s Alliance national asbestos defense team. “Our clients will benefit from his track record with the courts and opposing counsel. Trez will be able to immediately assist with ongoing matters in these states and allow us to continue to expand our national platform.”
Quinn has also represented clients under regulatory compliance investigations by federal and state agencies and in the review of internal policies. This includes experience with investigation demands and remediation, peer review hearings, licensure denial or revocation, and administrative actions.
“The strength of Husch Blackwell's mass tort practice lies not just in individual talent, but in the firm's innovative business model for these kinds of cases,” Quinn said. “Few firms use data and technology to inform their large complex suits like this practice does. My clients will greatly benefit from that and gain access to a national network of attorneys with specialized experience who work seamlessly together.”
