Husch Blackwell Adds Partner in Kansas City; Joins Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation Industry Team

Partner Thomas N. Molins joins Husch Blackwell’s Kansas City, Mo., office. He joins the firm’s Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation team and will primarily assist clients with Tax matters.

Prior to joining Husch Blackwell, Molins was counsel (2007-2015) and associate (1998-2006) with Jones Day in Chicago. While there, he assisted clients with corporate federal income tax matters, including matters relating to mergers, acquisitions and financings; international transactions and planning; tax controversy and administrative matters; securities offerings; and real estate investment trusts. He also previously served as a tax associate in the Boston office of Foley, Hoag & Eliot (1995-1998). Initially upon receiving his J.D., Molins served as a law clerk to the Hon. Judge William Fay in the U.S. Tax Court in Washington, D.C. (1995).

Molins received his LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center (1994), and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law (1993). He received his B.A. in History from Georgetown University (1989).
