Husch Blackwell Adds Litigator from Skadden to Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation Group

Husch Blackwell has added Michael Klebanov as an associate to its Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation industry team in St. Louis. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, handling disputes for business clients in a wide variety of areas.

Klebanov comes to Husch Blackwell from the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, one of the largest law firms in America. As a litigation associate there since October 2011, his experience in state and federal courts included representing clients regarding breach of contracts and warranties, deceptive trade practices, defamation, breach of fiduciary duties, securities violations and gross negligence.

Previously, Klebanov was a judicial clerk for Judge Joseph L. Tauro of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts (2010-2011).

Klebanov earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School (2010), where he was senior articles editor for Cornell Law Review and an award-winning member of the moot court board. He also holds a B.A. in philosophy from Columbia University in New York City (2007).
