Husch & Eppenberger Names New Members of The Firm

Husch & Eppenberger, LLC is pleased to announce the names of 11 attorneys who have been named Members of the Firm, effective January 1, 2008.

St. Louis

Anne E. Bruneel practices in the Land Use Development & Financing Practice Group in the St. Louis office. Bruneel concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate transactions and redevelopment projects, counseling clients in the use of tax increment finance and other economic development incentives. She also represents real estate developers in commercial real estate purchases, sales and leasing. Ms. Bruneel graduate from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1990. She earned a B.A. from Saint Mary's College in 1987.

William J. Curtis practices in the Environmental & Regulatory Practice Group in the St. Louis office. Curtis concentrates his practice on environmental litigation. He represents clients in mass tort, property damage, personal injury, CERCLA, and other litigation matters stemming from manufacturing operations, products, and other environmental issues. Curtis earned his law degree from George Washington University in 2000. He graduated with a B.S. in Political Science from Truman State University in 1997.

Matthew R. Grant practices in the Business Litigation Practice Group in the St. Louis office. Grant focuses on product liability and intellectual property litigation. He earned his law degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Law in 2000. In 1997 Grant graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration from Truman State University.

Sarah C. Hellmann practices in the Business Litigation Practice Group in the Firm's St. Louis office. Hellmann represents clients in all areas of business and general tort litigation. Specifically, she represents health care clients, including physicians and other healthcare providers, in medical malpractice matters. Hellmann also has experience representing clients in a variety of litigation matters, including real estate and commercial litigation. Hellmann earned her law degree summa cum laude from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2000. In 1997 she graduated from the University of Dayton, magna cum laude, with a B.S. in Criminal Justice.

Frederick W. Miller III practices in the Land Use Development & Financing Practice Group in the Firm's St. Louis office. Miller works with lenders and borrowers in various types of loan transactions, including real estate and asset-based financings. He also counsels clients during the acquisition, development, sale and leasing of commercial property. Miller's specialties include 1031 like-kind exchanges and tenants in common transactions. He earned his law degree from Washington University in 2000 and graduated from the same institution in 1996 with an A.B. in Psychology.

Brandan P. Mueller practices in the Business Litigation Practice Group in Husch & Eppenberger's St. Louis office. Mueller represents clients in the defense and prosecution of a wide array of cases involving products liability and general torts, complex commercial litigation, insurance law, and personal injury. He focuses extensively on products liability cases involving electrical equipment and on toxic tort matters. Mueller earned his law degree cum laude from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2000. He graduated with a B.S. in Political Science from Truman State University in 1997.

Urmila P. Paranjpe practices in the Business Litigation Practice Group in the St. Louis office of Husch & Eppenberger. Paranjpe has an active litigation practice in state and federal courts throughout the country. Specifically, she represents clients in all areas of business and complex commercial litigation, including contract disputes, securities, consumer fraud, and business torts. Paranjpe also has extensive experience defending clients in toxic tort and products liability litigation. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2000 and from Saint Louis University in 1997 with a B.A. in French Literature (magna cum laude).

Laurel J. Tinsley practices in the Land Use Development & Financing Practice Group in the St. Louis office. Tinsley counsels clients on transactions involving various tax credits and incentives, as well as federal tax issues. She also handles the acquisition, development, sale and leasing of commercial and multi-family residential property. Tinsley earned her law degree from Washington University in 2000. In 2005 she earned an LL.M. in Taxation from the same institution. Tinsley graduated cum laude with a B.A. in English from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale in 1997.

Kansas City

Robert D. Maher practices in the Insolvency Practice Group in Husch & Eppenberger's Kansas City office. Maher concentrates his practice in the areas of creditors' rights and workouts while also advising clients in the areas of real estate, general business and corporate law as well as business consultation. Maher simultaneously earned his law degree and M.B.A. from the University of Kansas in 1998. He graduated from Baker University cum laude in 1994 with a B.S. in Accounting and Business Management.

Charles G. Renner practices in the Business Transactions Practice Group in the Firm's Kansas City office. Renner concentrates his practice in the areas of general business and corporate law, public law, land use development and financing, and general business consultation and advice. He earned his law degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law in 2000. Renner graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Missouri - Kansas City in 1997.

Springfield

Ginger K. Gooch practices in the Business Litigation and Appellate Practice Groups in Husch & Eppenberger's Springfield office. She received a David J. Dixon Appellate Advocacy Award from the Missouri Bar in 2007. Ms. Gooch graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Law in 2000. She earned a B.A., summa cum laude, in English and Philosophy, Law & Rhetoric from Stephens College in 1997.
