Husch Blackwell client Milhaus was granted approval from the Planned Industrial Expansion Authority of Kansas City for a mixed-use development project. The Firm aided Milhaus in securing both a real property tax abatement and a sales tax exemption on construction materials.
The $73.8 million project will consist of five buildings on 4.3 acres and will be the largest redevelopment plan in the East Crossroads. A third party financial report estimated that the tax incentives will save Milhaus $8,742,000.
