Owner to Prime Contractor (Private): Unless explicitly waived or altered by contract, 21 days after receipt of invoice.

Prime Contractor to Subcontractor (Private): Unless explicitly waived or altered by contract, 7 days after receipt of payment from owner.

Interest/Penalties (Private): Interest at a rate of 1% per month.

Owner to Prime Contractor (Public): Unless explicitly waived or altered by contract, 21 days after receipt of invoice.

Prime Contractor to Subcontractor (Public): Unless explicitly waived or altered by contract, 7 days after receipt of payment from owner.

Pay-If-Paid Permissible: No.

Special Notes: Party seeking payment must provide notice of statutory entitlement to interest to be entitled to charge interest on late payment.
