Overview

Vickie is a senior paralegal who concentrates her work in franchise and securities law.

Vickie has assisted attorneys and clients in legal matters for over 30 years. She enjoys working directly with clients to help solve problems, explain the process and act as a liaison with state franchise agencies. To help franchisors through the regulatory process, she prepares franchise disclosures and ancillary documents. She keeps clients’ businesses up to date by managing state franchise filings.

Vickie’s vast knowledge of state regulatory processes also applies to her role in securities matters. She assists attorneys in management of state securities filings and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings through their online public database Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR). She also drafts form D filings and researches state blue-sky laws.

The final area in which Vickie works is contract management, where she manages a web portal for clients’ contracts. She uses this portal to keep contracts organized and ensure that no details are missed.

Vickie is currently involved in the legal project management initiative, which is dedicated to increasing client value and providing exceptional client services.
