Overview

With a passion for renewable energy, Sidney assists developers and landowners with real estate needs.

Sidney represents clients connected to renewable energy projects across the country, primarily those involving wind or solar energy. He performs due diligence and title and survey review, working to secure and clear necessary land titles; drafts and modifies purchase, sale, and lease agreements; and works with projects from initial conception and siting all the way to operating agreements and sale. Sidney also advises energy clients on a wide variety of real estate transaction questions, helping them make real estate decisions that support their business goals.

After a longstanding interest in business, economics, and the economy’s relationship with the law led Sidney to law school, he graduated during the 2020 real estate boom. He immediately saw the myriad business opportunities in the real estate market and focused his legal practice accordingly, first assisting clients with traditional purchase and sale work, as well as real property transfer after death.

However, Sidney’s true passion was renewable energy. He believes the transition to renewables is absolutely essential for humanity’s future, and he began to focus heavily in wind and solar work in 2022 before joining Husch Blackwell the following year, excited for the firm’s rapid growth.

Sidney is known for his diligence with client projects and his determination to always go the extra mile.
