Shmuli’s practice as a commercial litigator plays to his strength of solving complicated problems for clients.
Shmuli’s communication, research and advocacy skills support his work in various litigation matters, including offensive and defensive discovery, drafting documents and motions, and assisting attorneys as they prepare for trial. He has experience with projects in corporate, real estate and toxic tort law. With an undergraduate degree in biology, he also has a particularly keen interest in healthcare issues.
Shmuli previously served as a judicial assistant to the Hon. Robert H. Dierker Jr. and the Hon. Michael F. Stelzer in the 22nd Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri. He worked in the trial division providing support for judicial deliberations, including discovery disputes, summary judgments, deposition designations and objections, amended pleadings, post-conviction remedies and motions to dismiss. Shmuli also conducted legal research on a wide range of topics in the motion/equity division, and he drafted and edited court orders and memos for cases and motions under submission in the judicial circuit.
