Overview

Sarah draws on her background as both a real estate paralegal and a title and escrow officer to assist clients with commercial real estate transactions.

Sarah has devoted her career to the legal industry and to real estate law, having worked at law firms and title companies for more than 20 years. With a passion for history, she loves the historical oddities often built into land ownership and real estate deals, and she finds the practice area genuinely fascinating. Sarah also enjoys analyzing finer points of law: she previously served on the legislative committee of the Nebraska Land Title Association. The role involved extensive legal research as committee members reviewed real property related bills for each upcoming legislative session and lobbied for or against them.

In addition to her paralegal experience, Sarah has also served as a title and escrow officer, title examiner and title production manager. Much of her title work involved ensuring properties were cleared for sale and any title issues were taken care of, based on attorney and underwriter recommendations.

Today, Sarah performs title and survey review for commercial real estate transactions, assisting builders, owners, developers and construction companies. She is extensively experienced at clearing title issues, searching records and examining title commitments, and she’s known for staying on top of all details and for prioritizing client communication. Clients can be confident that Sarah will ensure that transactions close, and close on time.
